Duracoat SkimCoat Rush Award Ceremony Celebrates Painters Behind 50 Years of Excellence

As Duracoat marks 50 years of excellence, we proudly celebrated the painters who have been at the heart of our journey through the Duracoat SkimCoat Rush Award Ceremony, held on 21st April 2026 at the Basco Forest Road Branch.

The Duracoat SkimCoat Rush Promotion was launched under the Zawadika Na Marangi Loyalty Program to reward painters for their continued support and use of Duracoat Internal and External Skim Coat. Running from 1st November 2025 to 28th February 2026, the campaign gave registered painters across the country the opportunity to earn points and compete for exciting rewards.

To participate, painters were required to register on the Zawadika Na Marangi App or via *USSD 338# and purchase Duracoat Internal or External Skim Coat in 25KG bags from authorised dealers. For every qualifying 25KG bag purchased during the promotion period, painters earned 150 Zawadika Points. At the close of the campaign, the top 30 painters nationwide with the highest accumulated points were selected as winners.

The award ceremony was therefore more than just a prize-giving event—it was a celebration of the skill, dedication, and craftsmanship of the painters who continue to bring the Duracoat brand to life in homes, buildings, and projects across the country.

Graced by our General Manager, Mr. Aseem Doshi, and our Brand Ambassador, Peter Marangi, the event proudly recognised and rewarded the outstanding winners of the campaign.

Award Winners

• 10 painters received KES 20,000 each. • 10 painters received KES 50,000 each. • 10 painters won brand new motorbikes.

The strong participation and enthusiasm shown throughout the campaign made the Duracoat SkimCoat Rush Promotion a great success. More importantly, it reflected the trust and loyalty that painters continue to place in Duracoat products and the shared journey we have built together over the years.
